rebekka sæter


Rebekka Sæter is a choreographer, artist and outdoor educator from Oslo, Norway. She holds an MA in Transcultural European Outdoor Studies from University of Cumbria, and has studied Contemporary Performance Practice at the Royal Scottish Conservatoire, Choreography at Dartington College of Arts and Friluftsliv at Norges idrettshøyskole (Norwegian School of Sport Sciences). At the moment she is taking classes in Forestry Management at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences in Norway.
Rebekka works in-between body, movement, place and narrative, and explores how we affect and are affected by our interactions with living beings and places.
Rebekka's work has been shown at venues such as SCI-ART Symposium (CAN) Arne Næss Symposium (NOR), Norwegian Bioart Arena (NOR), CYAN Galleri (NOR), Galleri Schæffersgate (NOR) International Ecoliteracy Festival (DEN) Theaterforum Kreuzberg (GER) ADA Studios (GER) Buzzcut Festival (UK) and at Impulstanz (AUS) as part of the ATLAS program.
Her work has been supported by Creative Europe, Norske Dansekunstnere (the Norwegian Dance Artist Union) and Regionalt Kulturfond Akershus Fylkeskommune (Regional Culturefund, Akershus County)
From 2022 2026 she worked as a project manager at Norwegian Bioart Arena. She has been a board member at PRAXIS Oslo since 2025.
